Good morning!



My name is Mercotte, I live in Savoy next to Chamb ry, I have 4 big children and 5 small children. When I got married I could even cook an egg never not to lose hope but I was brought up in the taste of the good things.

As I am perfectionist, when I was interested in the kitchen, I made it thoroughly!

I began this blog at the end of May, 2005 a bit incidentally, and I was very quickly enticed by ambience, interactivity and friendliness of the web fond of good food.

I try to share festive recipes, to demystify them, to make them accessible by explaining it and by simplifying them.

Desserts, chocolate and macaroons have my preference.

Thanks to this blog I participated in 2006 in A mouse in the soup joint publication in editions Tana which united 15 bloggeuses.

In September, 2007 is appeared one baby work in the collection Small public garden of leisures 30 creative desserts for all occasions . Its layout did not satisfy me because it is not organised and it is sometimes difficult to be there!

In October, 2008, I changed editor to work with a very young dynamic editor of my region, and of this close collaboration am born others are going to follow, which you will discover following the actuality of the blog.

Besides the recipes of kitchen I sometimes speak restaurants, books which please me or of demonstrations in the which I participate.

I am happy to welcome you in my space fond of good food, do not hesitate to ask me of questions on recipes, I will try hard to answer it fast.

    Finally I decide on sending you this small grain of salt, with your encouragement to make it, remember some Monday in SIRHA, we belong meet in the stands of World championship patisserie, which surprise and which happy hazard, thank you for all these nice recipes, thank you for your kindness and your availability, I think dare now to wonder of advice and just a baby perfected on macaroons (still and always): I have a friend who made internship Valrhona and who explained me that she made therefore the Italian meringue and that she topped up indoors the whites of not taken up eggs then powders almonds and sweetens freeze, while I I blend sugar freeze and drift with almond with the whites of not taken up eggs and only after I macaronne this kind of paste of almond with my Italian meringue, you can clairere me on the best way of making, still thank you and see you soon

    First of all thanks for this meeting in Evian on Sunday on the course of macaroons, I appreciated a lot to meet you, in esperant that your return took place well.
